Ryujin Sushi
My dear friend Julie Wahyudi opened her new sushi restaurant in August, 2021. This is our go to sushi and it’s the best we’ve had in NJ, it’s on par with NYC, Osaka, and Toyko sushi we’ve had and we’ve had pretty outstanding sushi over the years. Their selection of premium seafood are outstanding and their creations are beautiful.
We had the opportunity to enjoy Ryujin’s Premium Osaka Chef’s Tasting menu; we are in awe of the shear artistry that was presented to us by the skilled Sushi Chefs. Each individual piece, on the Premium Osaka Chef’s Tasting Menu, is a self-contained masterpiece, artfully crafted and presented to you ready to enjoy as the Chef intends. This means that it should be eaten as presented and not dipped in additional soy sauce because the Chef has applied the appropriate topping for each type of fish.
Other levels of Chef’s Tasting menus, a la carte sushi and ramen with its broth simmered for 24 hours are also available, but for a unique sushi experience, we suggest the Osaka Menu. I can’t wait to try everything on their menu!
