HOW TO: Cast Iron Pan Cook Dry Aged Steak

Level: Easy Prep Time: 5 min Cook Time: 7 minutes Yield: 2 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 2, 1-1.5 inch Dry Aged Steaks

  • Salt

  • Pepper

SPECIAL TOOLS

  • Instant Read Meat Thermometer

  • Cast Iron Pan

DIRECTIONS

Fry

  • Turn on your stovetop fan

  • Salt and pepper steak, bring to room temperature before cooking

  • Heat pan over medium heat

  • Warm up a teaspoon of oil for one minute, then lay your steak in the pan

  • Cook a 1 inch dry aged steak for about 3 minutes on each side, for medium rare

  • Check steak temperature using Instant Read Meat Thermometer for proper doneness

  • Let rest for 10 minutes
